Legal Notice
Who is behind this site.
The legal notice identifies who operates the site, what is published today and what will be added once the legal entity is incorporated. It is an official document; nothing is missing because it is hidden — some information depends on registrations that do not yet exist.
1. Identification of the site operator
The site arquely.com is operated by Arquely, the name under which the founding team builds and launches process automation and document reading with artificial intelligence.
General contact and contact for all legal purposes: contact@arquely.com.
2. Corporate status and what is published
The legal entity that will own and operate the site and the products is being incorporated. Until registration is complete, there is no registered company name, registered office, tax number or commercial registration number that can be published — inventing them would be wrong, and that is exactly what we avoid.
Immediately after incorporation, this section will state, plainly: company name; registered office; tax number; commercial registration number; share capital, if applicable; and the contact for official purposes.
Until then, every commitment published on this site — privacy, conditions, prices, deadlines — stands in full, and the contact above resolves any question.
3. Purpose of the site
The site is institutional and informational. It presents the company, the state of the products, the two initial offerings — Business Automation and Document Intelligence — and the interest form. It is not a shop: it does not sell directly, does not take payments and does not conclude contracts online.
Product pages and legal documents may be read, quoted and analysed by any visitor; commercial reuse is governed by section 6 and the Terms of Use.
4. Nature of the information
The information on the site describes accurately what Arquely does and intends to do at this stage, including known limits and risks. It is not a binding offer, a guarantee of availability, legal, tax or accounting advice, or a promise of specific results.
Figures and deadlines mentioned in conversations become binding only when they appear in a written proposal accepted by the Client, under the Service Conditions.
5. Applicable legal references
Operation of the site follows, among other rules: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law No. 58/2019; Law No. 41/2004, amended by Law No. 46/2012, on privacy in electronic communications; Decree-Law No. 7/2004, on e-commerce; Law No. 144/2015, on alternative consumer dispute resolution; and the accessibility standards referred to in the Accessibility Statement. Where situations connected to Mozambique apply, Law No. 3/2017 is also relevant.
This list is indicative of the references that guide the site and does not replace consulting the legal texts in force.
6. Intellectual property
The site's content — texts, emblem, visual identity, code, structure and layout — is protected by copyright and related rights law and by industrial property law, and belongs to Arquely or is used with permission.
Reading, sharing links and quoting brief excerpts with attribution are permitted. Copying, modifying, distributing, publishing, selling or commercially exploiting the content without written permission is not. Permission requests and editorial partnership proposals are welcome at contact@arquely.com.
7. Trademarks and names
Arquely, Arquely Business Automation and Arquely Document Intelligence are distinctive signs used by Arquely. Registration will follow its own steps once the entity is incorporated; continued use protects the sign independently of registration, but this site does not claim registrations that do not yet exist.
Truthful nominative references are free; use suggesting sponsorship, partnership or origin in Arquely requires written permission.
8. External links
The site references entities and laws by name, without operational links to third-party websites. If external links are added, they will be marked and will not imply Arquely's responsibility for the destination content.
9. Hosting and infrastructure
The site is served from cloud infrastructure contracted by the project's responsible team. The specific production provider will be identified on this page once the production contract is in place and the service stable — identified, not avoided.
Whatever the provider, the data protection framework published in the Privacy Policy stands: minimisation, security and transfers only on a lawful basis.
10. Responsibility for content
We write with care and review pages periodically. Errors still happen: if you spot an inaccuracy, an outdated statement or a contradiction, tell us at contact@arquely.com and we correct it once confirmed.
Arquely is not responsible for decisions taken solely on the basis of generic site information; business decisions should rest on the contractual documents and on the professionals competent for each matter.
11. Data protection
Personal data processing on the site, in the interest list and in projects is described in full in the Privacy Policy, including purposes, deadlines, rights and contacts. This notice does not replace that policy.
12. Cookies and local storage
What the site stores in your browser — one language cookie and a form draft — is inventoried, with names and durations, in the Cookie Policy.
13. Accessibility
The site's accessibility status, the checks carried out, the known limitations and how to report barriers are set out in the Accessibility Statement, which commits to WCAG 2.2 level AA.
14. Services and contracts
Provision of services is governed by the Service Conditions and by the contract signed with each client. What this notice says about the site does not change the regime of those contracts.
15. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints about the site, its content or conduct can be sent to contact@arquely.com; we reply within 15 business days, stating our assessment and, where applicable, the correction made.
Consumer disputes may be submitted to the registered alternative dispute resolution entities (list on the Consumer Portal, www.consumidor.gov.pt), without prejudice to going to court.
16. Authorities and supervision
For personal data protection, the supervisory authority in Portugal is the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt). For consumers, market and product safety enforcement lies with ASAE, and consumer policy is led by the Directorate-General for the Consumer; each publishes its official contacts on its own site.
In Mozambique, the competent entities will be named once the relevant designation is formally confirmed.
17. Applicable law
The site is governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory rules applicable to the visitor, including consumer and data protection rules, and to situations connected to Mozambique where Mozambican law applies.
18. Changes to this notice
This notice is updated whenever the facts it describes change — starting with the incorporation of the entity, which will make it more complete. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date at the top; material changes are flagged.
19. Contact
For everything relating to this notice: contact@arquely.com. For data protection matters, the same address is the channel — data subject requests are routed and recorded internally.
